Update 6/28/23: Due to low registration numbers, this year's workshop has been cancelled.

The IASC is excited to announce that the Summer Workshop is returning this summer!  A'ric Jackson is back again for another fun-filled week that is sure to leave your students engaged and ready to bring their leadership skills back to your schools.

This year's workshop will be held July 10-12 at Millikin University in Decatur.  As your students register, be sure they provide a valid and legible email address - all pre-workshop contact will be through email.  The registration form is available here: https://illinoisstuco.org/Content/Workshops/2023SummerWorkshop.pdf. Registration is due by May 31 to avoid paying a late fee, and no registrations will be accepted after Jul 1.

The purpose of the leadership camp is to take the students through a progression of their current leadership, how they can aspire to greater leadership styles, create their “Leadership Legacy” and ultimately, how that can be used to interact and impact others. The camp will begin on Monday at 9:00 am and will finish on Wednesday at 5:00 pm. Students will be chaperoned by experienced adult staff members. Delegates are responsible for their own transportation to and from the camp. This camp is open to student council officers and members, National Honor Society members, class officers and representatives, and any other officers/members and leaders from any club, organization or athletics in your school. Students must be entering the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and have not graduated from their school to participate.

Cost (includes food, housing, and all materials for the week):

IASC Member School: $400 per delegate registering by May 31, 2023.
After May 31, cost will be $425.

Non-Member School: $450 per delegate registering by May 31, 2023.
After Jun 1, the cost will be $475.

All registrations must be received by July 1, 2023
